milton daubThe Bronx, New York, 1888: The snowstorm of the century has buried Milton Daub’s town under ice and snow.  His family needs milk, and his neighbor needs medicine.  With help from his father, Milton crafts a pair of makeshift snowshoes.  He bundles up and sets out into the blizzard.  Will Milton’s homemade snowshoes bring him safely home again?
